
Dr. Cordia Momberg studied architecture at the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH) and the University of Florence. After several years of professional practice as an architect, she switched to research and teaching in 2013 with her dissertation in the field of architectural theory. Her research and knowledge focus is on Scandinavian architecture. The topic of her dissertation is the synthesis of tradition and modernity in the work of the Norwegian architect Wenche Selmer. Dr. Momberg has lived and worked in the Swedish capital Stockholm since 2006 and is familiar with the country's contemporary architecture, culture, language and architectural history. In 2020, her architecture guide Stockholm was published for the architecture publisher DOM Publishers. She has a second home in the French city of Strasbourg. Dr. Cordia Momberg moves confidently in an international and multilingual context and within the working languages German, English and Swedish. Since 2019 she has worked as a freelance publicist and specialist author.
